All PWF machines have the appropriate McAfee antivirus software installed and this is regularly updated

All Department-managed PCs and Macs have the appropriate McAfee antivirus software installed. This is regularly and automatically updated

Whilst you are a member of the University you can obtain McAfee antivirus software for your own computer:

If you have a personal computer or laptop with the factory configuration you should ensure that you have up-to-date anti-virus software, and anti-spyware. You should also follow the suggestions for the security of your computer made by the University Computing Service.

Please note that installing more than one anti-virus software package or anti-spyware package does not typically offer additional protection but is likely to cause you difficulties.
